Day 2 LIMA - CITY TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel Morning: guided city tour of the Historic Center of Lima and the Modern Lima suburbs of Miraflores and San Isidro. Return to the Hotel and overnight.
Day 3 LIMA - AREQUIPA
Breakfast at the hotel Transfer to airport to board your flight to Arequipa. Arrival in Arequipa and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon: City Tour of the ‘White city’ of Arequipa. Afterwards a visit to the Yanahauara neighborhood with its famous “Mirador.” Visit to the Santa Catalina Convent. Return to the Hotel and overnight.
Day 4 AREQUIPA - COLCA
Breakfast at the hotel Early in the morning, departure from Arequipa to Chivay. On the way, we drive through Pampa Cañahuas and Colca’s Windows and enjoy different types of scenery. Lunch included. You stay overnight in a hotel in the Colca Valley.
Day 5 COLCA - PUNO
Breakfast at the hotel Early in the morning departure to the lookout point “La Cruz del Cóndor”, where you can observe condors flying overhead. Departure from Colca to Puno by private car. Boxed lunch included. Arrival in Puno and transfer to the hotel.
Day 6 PUNO - UROS - TAQUILE
Breakfast at the hotel Fishermen and hunters inhabit the floating islands of the Uros. The residents of the Uros use the cattail, a type of rush, which grows in the lake, to create the conditions that ensure the islands stay afloat. Taquile is essentially a communal island where "Hands On Tourism" is practiced and it is world famous for the coloring and originality of its fabrics and garments, as well as for its music. Lunch included. Return to the Hotel and overnight.
Day 7 PUNO - CUSCO
Breakfast at the hotel Transfer to the bus station to take a bus to Puno. On route, you will visit Pucara, the Raqchi ruins, and the colonial church of Andahuaylillas. Lunch included in a typical restaurant in Sicuani. Arrival in Cuzco and transfer to your hotel.
Day 8 CUSCO - CITY TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel Morning at leisure. In the afternoon: city tour of Cusco and its nearby ruins: Qenko, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay, and the Sacsayhuaman fortress. Return to the Hotel. Overnight at the hotel
Day 9 CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY
Breakfast at the hotel Morning: departure for a drive through the fertile countryside to the colonial village of Pisac. Visit to Pisac’s Indian Market (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Sundays). Lunch in a local restaurant. Visit to the Ollantaytambo Fortress. Return to the Hotel in Cusco and overnight.
Day 10 CUSCO - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO
After breakfast, transfer to the train station where you will board the Vistadome train for an exiting journey to Machu Picchu, the majestic "Lost City of the Incas". Arrival at Aguas Calientes where a bus takes you to the Machu Picchu citadel. Guided tour and a buffet lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge. In the afternoon return to Cusco and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 CUSCO - LIMA
Breakfast at the hotel. At proper time transfer to the airport to take your flight back to Lima.
