Day 2 LIMA - CULINARY TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning, pick up at your hotel, to start the full day culinary tour. Traditional Peruvian cuisine is a fusion of Spanish and Creole cooking. It is worldwide known that Peruvian cuisine is now famous and highly recognized. We will star this Culinary Adventure visiting a traditional market where fresh products from Peru can be found. Later, a demonstration of the preparation of our famous and delicious Ceviche. Next, a visit to a Tavern, where we will learn to prepare Peruvian Pisco Sour. Lunch in a typical Peruvian restaurant. To end the tour, we will visit a boutique, where you can purchase Peruvian cookbooks and souvenirs. Dinner at “El Señorio de Sulco” Restaurant. Back to hotel and overnight.
Day 3 LIMA - CUSCO
Breakfast at the hotel. At due time, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Cusco. Arrival in Cusco and transfer to the Hotel (We highly recommend you relax for 2 hours minimum to get used to the height). In the afternoon City tour and guided visit to nearby ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, PucaPucara. At night, dinner at the Restaurant of the Pre-Columbian Museum of Art, located next to the museum itself. This restaurant is known for its integrated cuisine that combines the best of the Central Andes, obtaining delicious dishes. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS
Breakfast at the hotel. Today’s full day tour will be to the enigmatic and wonderful Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit Pisac Market (open Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday). After a delicious lunch at Sol y Luna Hotel, visit to the Ollantaytambo Fortress. After the tour you will be transferred to the Hotel in the Sacred Valley. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 5 SACRED VALLEY - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO
Breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning, transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the Vistadome coach for an exiting trip of 1 ½ hours to the citadel of Machu Picchu, the majestic “Lost City of the Inkas”. Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes transfer in bus to the ruins, located in the top of the mountain. Guided visit. Enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch at the SUMAQ Machu Picchu Hotel. In the afternoon, return to Ollanta and transfer to your hotel in Cusco. Overnight at the Hotel in Cusco.
Day 6 CUSCO
08.00 hrs. Visit to the San Pedro Market (central market). Guided tour conducted by a Peruvian specialist. Explanations and sampling. 10.00 hrs. Visit to the Greens Restaurant that offers vegetarians and organic meals. Preparation and testing of a vegetarian dish prepared with Andean products bought in San Pedro Market. Options: Yellow potato with Hancaína Sauce, Tarwi Salad or Occopa. 11.30 hrs. Visit to the Inka Grill Restaurant. Preparation and sampling of appetizers prepared with Andean Products. Options: Andean fruits marinated in Pisco, Coca Sour or Aguaymanto Sour. 12.30 hrs. Lunch: Option 1: Visit to the PachaPapa Restaurant. Preparation and sampling of regional food lunch (cooked in clay oven). Includes: Entree, Main Dish and Dessert, Chicha de Jora (Andean Beverage) and Soda or bottled Water. Option 2: Visit to the Incanto Restaurant. Preparation and sampling of Modern Peruvian Cuisine. Includes, Entree, Main Dish, Dessert, Glass of Wine and Soda or bottled Water. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner at “La Cicciolina” restaurant. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 7 CUSCO - LIMA
Breakfast in the hotel. At due time, transfer to the hotel to board your flight to Lima. Arrival in Lima and transfer to your hotel. Lunch at the Restaurant Pucllana, located in Miraflores. This is an international cuisine restaurant located next to the archaeological site of the same name. In the afternoon, guided visit to Historical Dowtown Lima and also its modern area, Miraflores and San Isidro. Next, a visit to Larco Herrera Museum, that offers the finest collection of gold and silver of ancient Peru, as well as the famous erotic art, one of the most visited attractions of the museum. Dinner at the Restaurant “La Dama Juana” where apart from delicious food, you will be able to enjoy a typical Peruvian dance show. Return to hotel and overnight.
Day 8 LIMA - INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT
Breakfast at the hotel. At due time, transfer to the airport to board your international flight.
