In the morning, we pick you up at your hotel to begin the tour. In the bus: Audiovisual Presentation on the delicious quality and tradition of Peruvian food.
Visit to a Market. You will start your day with a visit to a traditional market where a specialist will cut fish into fillets and then dice them to prepare a good ‘Ceviche’. Return to bus. Our guide offers an explanation of each monument we drive by as well as the history of the streets we tour through.
Preparation of Peruvian Dishes:‘Ceviche’ and ‘Causa’. At one of the best restaurants in Lima, you will participate in an interactive cooking class on how to prepare Ceviche, the Peruvian fish delicacy. Return to bus. In bus, entertaining audiovisual presentation on the history and processing of Pisco.
Demonstration of Peruvian drinks. Guided visit to a Pisco tavern and cellar, where you learn how to make ‘Pisco Sour’ and other Peruvian cocktails. Afterwards, you taste the drinks you’ve learnt to make. Return to bus.
Lunch at a typical Peruvian restaurant. Lunch-buffet includes the best and most traditional dishes of Peruvian cuisine, as well as a range of typical virgin drinks or soft drinks in a local restaurant. Return to bus.
Buy souvenirs and Peruvian Books. This is the place where you can buy Peruvian cookbooks and quaint Peruvian souvenirs. End your day by tasting a delicious cup of coffee or a cup of coca tea (‘coca’ is the divine and sacred herb of the Incas). Return to your hotel.
