DISCOVERING THE MAGIC OF THE TITICACA LAKE Program 03 Days - 02 Nights
Day 1 LIMA - PUNO
Arrival in Puno train station or at Juliaca Airport, meet assistance at the airport and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the famous Chullpas of Sillustani, 12 m / 40ft high stone cylinder burial chambers used by the Aymaras to bury their important leaders. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 2 UROS Y TAQUILE
Breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel by our local guide and then transferred to the harbor. We start off our boat excursion of Lake Titicaca by visiting “The Uros Floating Islands”, a small community that has lived on these reed Islands for decades. After strolling around the floating Islands, we continue our journey towards “Taquile Island” (2 hour aprox.), a traditional Quechua speaking community, full of ancient agricultural terraces and some ruins dating back to the pre-Inca times. Lunch included in a local restaurant. At the end, return to Puno city. Overnight.
Day 3 PUNO - CUSCO
Breakfast at the Hotel. At proper time, transfer to the train station or at the airport.
